Greetings from Twig! It is Thanksgiving week and I wanted to share an amazing food blog and cookbook with you all. If you have not seen the blog Cannelle et Vanille by Aran Goyoaga then you are in for a treat. When I came across her blog a few months ago it was a happy discovery and I have been hooked ever since. Aran's blog is absolutely beautiful. Her recipes are incredibly delicious.  Aran's recipes are devoted to gluten-free and whole-food cooking.

As if her blog wasn't enough for us to enjoy, her first cookbook called Small Plates and Sweet Treats was recently published. It is the most beautiful cookbook. Not only did Aran create all the recipes but she styled and photographed the book as well. You have to see the book trailer for her book.  So cozy and warm (plus there are links to where you can pick up a copy of Small Plates and Sweet Treats).

I have been cooking from her book ever since UPS dropped it off at my door. I am discovering many new ingredients thanks to Aran. My pantry is getting quite the makeover. My kids (ages 9 and 5) love what we have tried so far! Needless to say, the Sweet Treats sections are their favorites. Mine are the Small Plates (accompanied by a sweet treat). :)
